Spooky time. I was watching security footage this morning for the conservatory as there were alerts overnight once Cat was WITH me in the house from 11pm until we got up about 9.30am. 1 alert at 1.06am was the hedgehog that’s OK. The next alert at 8.13am was of Cat! WHAT?
It showed him looking around for 2 minutes. But Cat was upstairs on his bed with me. The dining room/conservatory door is locked & shut. I’ve spent ages re-checking the video and suddenly noticed the black facial markings, which are on Cats left, were on this cats right.
Further checking shows Cat has more white on his legs whereas the other cat (designated Cat2) has small white boots and is slightly stockier than Cat. I did notice Cat pause for a sniff at the conservatory portal this morning but I just thought it was the hedgehog he could smell.
So are Cat and Cat2 twins? Think Cat2 is male. Maybe Cat was/is being bullied by Cat2 so left home. It’s not the black cat who ‘attacked’ Cat recently as that was BIG. I’m really puzzled now. Have Cat and Cat2 been hot swapping me all these weeks? Have I got 2 lodgers? Twins?
