UPDATE 11th Dec 2021
Cat went out Friday 10th December 2021 at 5.54pm and has not returned to date. He had good feeds & sleep for most of Friday and the previous days. Since it’s been raining most of the day I’m hoping he’s sheltering somewhere. I’ve been expecting him to disappear one day. I shall miss him.

Well Cat nipped out again about 12.20am (Friday 26th Nov. 2021) whilst it was still raining and came back 3 minutes. Just wanted to go out again and when he did the hailstones came. He knows it’s raining but…
Cat wanted out at 7am (Friday 26th Nov 2021). I told him it was a monsoon outside. But would he listen? Back in at 7.30am doing his drowned rat impersonation. Wish he’d use his indoors facilities instead of doing his tough masculine “rain doesn’t bother me” routine.

Spotted Cat at lunchtime walking down next doors path to the gate leading to… the road! I nipped out, but he hadn’t gone out the gate, just sniffing a flower bed. He spotted me watching and dashed across the lawn and stretched up my leg for a head scratch. Followed me indoors.

At 1030pm I looked across the road and saw Cat was just in the park, and sitting 2m away from him was that huge white & black cat. I was concerned Cat might dash across the road. 11am this morning (Monday 25th Oct 21) when Cat turns up at the door meowing to be let in. He went out last night (Sunday 24th Oct 21) at 11pm. They walk amongst us. Found the corpse of Cats’ latest victim this morning. Placed it in the composting bin.
The chase is on.
I don’t know what Cat spotted but I kept well out of his way.
